The next day we went for a walk around town, stopped at the market for some supplies, returned to the boat, and untied the lines. We were underway headed to Port Ludlow around 24 nautical miles away.
Along the way, we crossed paths with this amazing Nordhavn 95.
Port Ludlow was beautiful. I threw a kayak in the water and paddled into the bays at the south end of the inlet, past ‘the twins’. There were a couple of boats anchored in the small bay. I would definitely anchor here if we come back at some point.
As I kayaked I passed a man in this tiny sailboat. He was having a blast sailing up and down the inlet. The boat looks like it may have been home-built. It was probably not more than 7 feet long and you can see its centerboard is attached to the starboard side of the boat.
