From Stuart Island we cruised over to Orcas and pulled into Deer Harbor. We had never been there. It is a cute little marina with a small shop and a pizza restaurant. That’s about it. I will say that the pizza was excellent.

Conor and I tried more crabbing with similar results. We caught a few but none were keepers other than the one Red Rock Crab that we figured wouldn’t be worth the effort to try cooking by itself, so back it went.

The next day, we had a tricky exit from our slip but managed to escape unscathed. I think we gave some folks on shore a good show.
